The landscape around Wensleydale offers some great cycling experiences, from legendary uphill climbs to the gentler routes exploring pretty villages with their pubs and tea shops.
The route for the 2014 Tour de France passed Wensleydale House, so you can re-live some of the Stage 1 Tour excitement from the doorstep.

The Yorkshire Dales has always been a favourite for mountain bikers due to its varied terrain. Wensleydale and Swaledale are home to some real technical epics (and fantastic views).

Leyburn makes a perfect base for a Dales walking holiday, as there are a number of interesting walks in Wensleydale and Swaledale to suit all abilities.
